Logan has nearly a decade of applied water resources engineering experience in the Upper Colorado River Basin. Capitalizing on her professional experience working in private consulting and for Denver Water, she has a strong background in water rights, consumptive use, demand management, surface water allocation modeling, and long-range planning.

Logan earned her undergraduate degree in International Environmental Studies and Spanish from Trinity University (Texas) in 2009 and her master's degree in Civil Engineering with a water resource focus from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2013. Her graduate thesis research, completed through CADSWES, focused on decision making under climate change uncertainty, with an emphasis on how water resource managers can integrate decadal scale projections in bottom-up frameworks to develop more robust and flexible management strategies.
