Three CADSWES hydropower researchers attended HydroVision International in Charlotte North Carolina, June 26 - 28. Considered to be the largest worldwide hydropower event of the year, HydroVision provides a week of informative hydropower focused meetings, technical presentations and perspectives on the role of hydropower in the evolving water energy nexus. Edie Zagona, Tim Magee and M.S. student Sumi Thapa took advantage of the opportunity to get updates on current research, connect with colleagues, and build new alliances with hydro professionals and water resource stakeholders in attendance and set discussed possible project for the future.
