The RiverWare Documentation files are taken from the online help PDF files which are installed with the RiverWare executable. If you prefer to browse the help files on your local drive, please download the zip archive (19 Mb) or download the gzipped tarball (19 Mb) and expand it into the directory of your choice. The main menu portal is named RWmenu.pdf, and you should start with that file. If you require a Windows zip appliation, we have found that 7-zip is a good (and free) alternative which creates and opens archives that are compatible across platforms.
We recommend that you use Adobe Reader 9 or newer to view the help files. When navigating with Reader, we have found that the "Previous View" and "Next View" buttons are very useful. In Reader 9, a minor configuration change is necessary to add these buttons to the toolbar so that they are easily accessible. Click on Tools->Customize Toolbars. A window titled “More Tools” will open. Scroll down to the “Page Navigation Toolbar” section and toggle on the “Previous View” and “Next View” buttons. Click on “OK”. |
